For the past 6 years I’ve ridden my bike from SF to LA with AIDS/LifeCycle. This ride helps fund the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center to provide free HIV/AIDS medical care, testing, and prevention services. Being part of this cause has been incredibly life changing and I love being able to support my community.

I volunteered with my favorite group - Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado. In Colorado, it costs over $25K per mile to put in a high-quality erosion minimized trail, so volunteer work can really help smaller groups with limited funding get big projects accomplished. The reason I love this group is that they get a ton of work done in support of so many outdoor spaces throughout Colorado including 14ers, Boulder County Open Space, river cleanups on South Platte, and burn area recovery.
