Halima Aden

A Somali refugee, Halima Aden is paving her way to supermodel status. Since first making headlines competing in the Miss Minnesota USA pageant wearing a hijab, Halima has been on the covers of numerous magazines, on the runway, and in ad campaigns. Despite her success, she remains grounded. I want this to be greater than me. Every editorial, every cover, every campaign that I do is as much for me as it is for women in my community.
